Monthly subscriptions keep you ahead of the game with one birthday card, one thank you card, and two (more or less) general cards. This box was sent out in March 2019. It included a thank you card, a birthday card, an easter/spring card, and a cheers card.
Thank You Greeting Card
A straightforward thank you card focusing on the receiver of the card. This card, style-wise, belongs to a collection of cards that I originally called 80's sayings because it began with Awesome Sauce, Cool Beans, Goodness Gracious, and Holy Moly. Clearly the sayings are not all from the 80s but Cool Beans was something I said growing up in the 80s. The collection continues to grow and I now refer to it as Type No. 7 based on the typeface that is the focus of the design.
Happy Birthday Greeting Card
I found this type face and felt it made for a perfect birthday card as it seemed happy and party-like. I find I say happiest birthday more often than happy birthday and this card continues in that tradition—hopefully this birthday is the happiest one yet.
Easter Greeting Card
The bunny is an icon of the spring/Easter season. Whether one celebrates the religious holiday or not, this card calls to mind the newness of spring.
Cheers Greeting Card
This simple line drawing calls to mind the beverage of choice when celebrating one's accomplishments. My favorite part of the drawing is the detail of the bubbles rising out of the glass. The effervescence seems to capture the spirit of the card.
